Stationary at traffic lights

When a guy asked me to pop a wheelie when light goes green my reaction was errr I can’t and secondly there was a row of traffic not too far up ahead so hardly a wise idea , I kinda feel a bit intimidated when someone starts shouting out there window at me never knowing what there gana say lol , I got a loud exhaust but still does anyone feel the same when that sort of thing happens?

then learn to wheelie!!

or slowly bring the revs up to about 3k rpm and hold it there…tends to keep em quite;)

Ask him to pop one in his car or just shout gibberish under your helmet at them, they’ll give you a weird look and a nod most of the time. Confusion can be funny friend in these situation.

The main thing is to stay cool

i get that all the time from chav kids:hehe: i’m not one to disappoint:D

Start yelling at him in ‘Polish’, they’ll soon shut up.

Errrmmm why in polish lol… i just laugh and thats about it lol

I get that sort of thing on the moto.
But haven’t learnt how ( :frowning: ) and wouldn’t give them the satisfaction of having me perform on demand anyway :D.

Had that a few times, people in cars asking me to pop a wheelie from the lights mostly Northerns!

However, when I flipped the lip, and asked, why should I? The only reaction I got, and this has been on more than one occasion - It’s a girlie, a girlie on a big bike - lights change, off I go.

Makes me laugh everytime.

Have you seen what i ride, No chance.

Ha ha couldnt agree with u more !! i ALWAYS get it…“OMG its a bird” (nice to be referred to as a “bird”, thought i was a old hen nowdays!!) :stuck_out_tongue:

I get asked quite alot once even when the police where behind me too. I never oblige, just rev the engine for them a bit and then move on.

if its clear then its mono time, I always try and please the public if its safe.

No thanks, I ignore such requests. I just blip the throttle and pootle off nicely.

If I could, I would, lol

I laugh nervously and try not to fall off as I go

Mebe I should try a wheelie on this one…

no-one ever asks me to wheelie :crying:

me neither. my polite, sober riding style and stock 05 FZ6S doesn’t engender any wheelie requests.

I bet you were sitting there thinking st when these lights go green this geezer wants to see a wheelie and i can’t do one. Fk

I was stationary at the lights once and a geeza was crossing the road with all his kids…(like the brady bunch it was) and he came up to me and said “ello geez me boys wanna see you do a wheelie. Can you do one for em”

I said yeah ok no problem fella. Up she went. I thought yeah I a hardcore man. If I had said no I would of looked a twat seeing as I was on me supermoto dressed like evil kenevil…

Just learn to pop a wheelie then you can be hardcore. I prefer to do rolling stoppies up to the lights that a nice show peice…

Boring I know, but I never do anything for anyone else.

Its the quickest way to to either look a prat if anything goes wrong or get caught by the fuzz.

Had a few requests but I just smile and shake my head. The only time I pop wheelies anyway I usually when I don’t intend to :w00t:

I never wheelie on demand.

Don’t get me wrong; I’ve been known to be a bit of a stunt monkey in the past and regularly partake in naughtiness, but I just know that having an audience will make something go wrong. It’s Sod’s Law.
