I had a SRAD and loved it, i do also love the look and sound of a TL.
TLs seem to get a bad press, never ridden one so I ‘know nurtheeng’.

They are a cracking bike for the money and if you aint got deep pockets an ideal sports bike, especially if you get a good one like I did. I also prefer mine to the later gixxers as although it’s heavier it just feels more planted and seems to fit me perfectly, like a well worn pair of shoes! They are still a very capable bike even compared to the newer versions and I love mine! 
Only time I rode an SRAD was the when I was looking to upgrade from a Bandit… first time on a proper Sports bike right.
The guy gives me the keys, I whizz off and scare myself shitless but not cos of how I was driving. The Frame was OBVIOUSLY bent, the brakes kind of worked, and 2nd and 3rd were so soft I’m sure he’d taken ALL the teeth off during his ownership.
When I got back the bloke goes, yeah, I’ve had her about 6 years, never done any maintenance… at which point I did what I should have done earlier… gave her a PROPER look over… Chain was pure orange, there was a damaged front brake hose, and brake fluid dribbling out, the rear brake was seized… hence the sluggish response. Lucky I’d ONLY gone 300 yards before returning…
THE CHEEKY GSXR POOF was still asking 1500 for it! Its kind of corrupted ANY view I have of SRAD’s unfortunately! That and my favourite ALL -TIME biking lie which is clearly printed on the side of every SRAD - “Ram Air” technology…HA HA AH Don’t make me laugh!

pompey as i have allready told ya at bm that is a fine example of an srad love it!!
Haveing had an srad allbeit a 600 I loved every second of owning it until it got nicked was a great bike solid in every way and keeps up with the newer ones easy and they just look the nuts.
I am even thinking of having one as a second bike.
