that with Last.fm and why would you buy a CD ever again? however still promotes music and gets you into new stuff! So good for music and the artist = bad for the record labels.
Record industry must be on its arse cos of stuff like this! But then its about time, theyve had it so good for so long! making bazillions of pounds
The record industry won’t be losing business over this. If anything, it’ll get more - people still like to own physical products, so many will be buying the music they discover on Spotify.
I don’t think it’s really aimed at the Last.fm crowd - which seems to be a younger, more Facebooky bunch. I reckon Spotify users are more likely to be the sort of people for whom a decent CD collection is quite important.

A guy at work told me bout free download web thing, sounded great, so i did what he said and it was pants, the tunes were fuzzy and then wouldnt go in my i tunes for some reason?
My better half works in IT and told me to leave this alone on the home pooter! Can you really get free music without strings? or is this a pay as you go number?
