Gortex pants for about £120 covered in pockets like action man - Only problem is there a bit toasty in the summer. But awsome in the colder months, and lets be honest we have more of them than warm ones. There very waterproof aswell
I’ve just bought a pair of Draggin jeans and the knees protectors are movable so you can custom fit them.
My Frank Thomas pants are ok, but it depends on what bike I’m on and if I’ve got the thermal part in or not. If the thermal part is in they fit really well, when it’s not I sometimes have to readjust them on a long journey.
Ok, I went to Harpers ths saturday and got the most absurd look from Ray (guy who works there) when I mentioned £160 leathers. He said the cheapest were about 200 and that wasnt custom fit.
I bought a pair of Wolf leather bottoms, which will be custom made and it cost me 275 (350 reduced to 250, plus xtra for custom fit). He did say there were another pair which were a little bit cheaper, but I think they came to around 240.
Just to let you guys know. I wasnt too bothered, as I have had difficulty in finding the right pair. But the service was good and informative, and to the point.
Cheers Ray.
ps alteration (hip to knee extension, silver piping made white, removal of logo and calf widening) I was also offered the opportunity of adjusting my jacket to zip onto the trousers for free, which I take up at a latter date. Trousers come up qute high at the back, so I might not want the zip bit.
