Shame you didn’t get offered the course. Thames Valley is a good place to get caught as at least that is an option if you haven’t gone too fast. It’s a useful course and sharpens your senses as you feel you got off lightly. Well £80 isn’t exactly lightly but at least there are no points.

well when the Police pulled me over for speeding they wernt very easy to spot from a distance, NO HV otherwise i would have slowed down a lot sooner 
they were in their normal uniform. but i done the crime so i paid the fine
45 is a good bit over to be honest. I was done for being 6 miles over 
ouch that was harsh… the old rule of thumb used to be 10% + 2 mph for variation
