Hey guys,
where do you go if you want to find a good road to ride on in previously unknown area? I’m going down to Torquay tomorrow and don’t know which route to choose.

Get out and discover.
Have a look on google maps and use the roads that looks all bendy
Yeah well I did that and the success rate is about 30% unfortunately, it’s either too busy with traffic, 30mph limit all the way or green lane
Thanks Alex for the link, already trying to put some of the waypoints in the Basecamp. This is gonna be a long night!
I tell my TomTom Rider where I want to go and press the “windy roads” button.
Seriously, best bike investment I ever made.
Well that sounds nice, if I tell my Garmin where I want to go it shouts at me for half an hour and then turns itself off mid-travel…
Best biking roads in combination with google maps & street view. I use a similar system for cycling routes too.
No Satnav / no maps - just a sense of direction and a strong tolerance for getting lost / being late.
Great site which has been invaluable in the past
