So I got pulled last night on the A40

Beware of a black 5 series BMW on that stretch because it is driven by 2 very professional and polite coppers…

so after pointing out all the missing bits on my bike (almost no plate to talk about, mirrors, tax disk, etc…) they started talking about sending me to court as they could not deal with me directly due to my "non UK license " that is by the way “not illegal to drive with”…

Obviously I saw this as an open bid and start negotiating…

To cut the story short, I was still standing on the side of the road with those two nice people an hour later!:doze:

At the end, I end up with a 7 days presenter for my license at my local police station as I did not have it with me.

I am sure I could have done something about that too but I was running late to go pick up m new mountain bike so I gave them that.

So the moral of the story is for Arnie to learn to put on a French accent on when he get stop because it seem much more efficient that the polish one.

Oh… I also promised to change my plate ASAP for something bigger, altho admittedly less stylish. I am actually considering it, may be not to the legal air brake size however.

tut tut tut lol

They should’ve slapped a prohibition order on your unroadworthy bike

BMW series 5 are friendly… Possible same car which pulled me for doing 115mph on a406 and let me off…

I reckon you didn’t tell them you’re french :stuck_out_tongue: They would done you straight away

oh god what have you just said… if the LB dinosaurs read this, it is going to go on for 10 pages of advise that you will not follow :stuck_out_tongue:

YAWN!!

Rule number one when being pulled over: be very humble and polite! They deal with idiots all day long who have an attitude problem, so don’t be one of those and perhaps you’ll come away thankful.
