Its thursday and I am now off for the weekend :). Good thing yes, but Im sooo bored. Went up to bat motorcycles last week and put down a deposit on a 1990 CBR400RR with the rest being a part exchange of my current 125 and cash. So, waiting for them to redo the carbs, service tyres and MOT and waiting for my insurance to get back to me (called them last wednesday, said they would call me back hah!). Called insurance up for the third time on monday and managed to get sorted. My new baby blade is insured for saturday with lower insurance and less than half the excess even with a fault claim against me (long other story - twxt idiot bxstxrd). So called Bats up yesterday and lo and behold my baby is ready for pick up! Panic call to insurance to change date to today - no problems. Now I need to wait for the post so I can get my bike taxed cause they wont do it on a blxxdy email or copy cover note?!! Not even from the dealer. Argh!!! All I want is my bike :crying:
Can you not tax bike online - they check it’s insured, and got MOT
That’s what i do - simple.
All you need is V5 number (get that from Bat’s) and the registration number of the bike.

your bike might not be on the insurance database yet though, so you won’t be able to.

lol, I know!Its only £1500 too! Cant tax it online as itsnot in my name yet…or on the data base! gotta get the papers then go up biggin hill sign everything then go to post office with v5 mot and insurance, get tax go back to biggin hill go home.
