bring it on! nothing like sliding round corners!
Well, I decided to bring the bike as usual, still hardly any traffic into London which is good, I’ve never ridden in snow before so it’ll be a baptism of fire. Take it easy y’all.
I was surprised after the severe weather warnings that the gritters weren’t out in force over our way
Didn’t come across any grit.
I HATE snow . . . but I’m ready for it

I’ll be going to pick up the KTM if it does snow!
Knobblies rule in the snow! :hehe:
I doubt if it will settle today but stay safe all the same:cool:
no snow so far
I made it easily to work today. no days without riding
Riding on settling snow is very dangerous - but even if it is not settling, falling snow can make riding hazardous, not least because even light build up of snow on your visor will obscure your vision in seconds, and riding with the visor up is impossible.
If it does snow - take every care!
I’m nice an warm in my house, coffee and pasty in hand. You’e all mentalist.
:w00t: Had a Yamaha XT350 years ago… Deep snow everywhere and cars were stuck on my estate due to a hill… the good old XT got out. Scary out but good fun… everyone though I was nuts…
Don’t fancy London roads in the snow and Ice with a road bike…
Have to bite the bullet and go back to my trusty Saab…
'tis very quite still aint it, never ridden in snow either, just have to go slow, or rig up some massive stabilisers!
i dont think it willl settle anyway?
Loads of grit in SW london - indeed, too much grit in places like Stockwell Gyratory.
The Met Office now say they don’t expect any significant snow in London.
