Hiya,

I need to get a small business accountant to look after staff payrole and tax claims. Can anyone recommend someone who is trustworthy and not too expensive.:slight_smile:

I use a company called Walshtax who are based in Leigh on Sea for all my accountancy, they do my company and personal tax, VAT and company accounts. They’ve been good, used em for a couple of years now, you can find their details on yell.com :slight_smile:

I use Mac Kotecha & Company (http://www.mackotecha.co.uk/) it’s a very small outfit with 2 accountants (brothers I think).

They’re in Hendon. Not the cheapest, not the deerest either. You get a very personal and professional service.

With accountants, I find it’s important you go and meet the person who you’ll be dealing with before signing a contract. You have to trust these people and be confident you can work with them easily.

Thanks for the advice, I guess trustworthy and cheap don’t go hand in hand:), I like the sound of the guy’s in Hendon, will definately check them out. Thanks again:D

I called this firm yesterday to ask for advise and quotes. Spoke to a Jeane Hill, who was very helpful.
