Found an ebay seller of a half decent jacket. Only problem is it says the size - 42 - but got no idea if that is “Full fat bastard” or just “Junior fat bastard”.
Anyone got any clues?

If it’s 42 inch chest that’s around my size at “junior fat bastard”.
I’m a 42 On RST. I’ll leave you to draw your own conclusions
Also be careful whether it’s US 42 or EUR 42. From memory, a US 42 is a EUR 52 (52 inch chest).
You’re a fatty Ami!
In a 42 ish on RST
Which equates to a medium

Unless my anorexia kicks in, I’ll mabye leave it then. Ta
Hmm im a 42-44 in rst but i have a 32 inch waist so feck off with ya fat bastard comments
What brand?
Compare a Dainese 42 to a Rukka 42 and they will fit people at the opposite ends of the BMI scale.
Chest size is a pretty terrible metric for fatness.
It was a Dainese

I have to size up for Dainese- they are made for skinny Italians.
If you wear a 42 in other brands then Dainese will probably need to be a 44.
I find the cut wrong for me- I’m a 44 in most brands but a Dainese 44 is too snug around the waist and a 46 is too loose around the chest.
All depends on the model as well…one set of Dainese leathers I couldn’t even close, the others for just right (back then). But that size is weird
Just checked and my dainese gtx is a 58 on the jacket label so I don’t know what a 42 is…? Is that the EU Vs UK sizing so a 42 is a 52? But
I am between a 42" and 44" chest in everyday life, suit etc.
I’m a 46 or even 48 in almost all bike gear depending on brand. Rst and Dainese worst, Hein Gericke and Belstaff closest. Trying on bike gear makes me feel fat.
So in conclusion, probably best to visit a shop, work out which size fits for that brand, then go look on the interweb
I wear Dianese and am a 52 in their sizes.

Correction I’m size 46. But I have long arms.
Must be a small 46
I’m HG Mesh 44, Richa Leather 46 and Textile 2XL.
i always like to get a slightly bigger jacket. This way, i can stuff items down my front when i nip to the shops (i pay for them first of course :) )
Ah it’s only an L in RST terms.
A 42 fits me body wise but the arms are way too short
