she also said not 1 car driver helped wat w@nkers and that it was two bikers that came bk to help
not much news bout the bike hopefully no to badly damaged
At a guess you ride a yellow CBR and have your name on your lid?? I just changed commute route last week and have crossed Blackfriars Bridge behind you a couple of times on a Grey Bros.
If that’s not you then GWS anyway, can’t believe no **** stopped for you
Good to see your smiley face - it cheered me up no end.
I’ve got soft tissue injuries to my elbow and knee. Been told to rest up and my knee is looking bruised - although the bruising hasn’t come out fully. No-one came forward as witnesses and no one saw the driver The police and the paramedics were very helpful.
As for the bike - well from when it was picked and wheeled to the curb she was looking rather poorly :crying:
I was only going about 10-15 mph filtering with no oncoming traffic - glad I wasn’t going any faster. A person did a u-turn in front of me - I hankered onto the brakes, I believe that I touched a manhole cover, then high-sided, landed and skidded on my face, rolled over and landed on my back.
Please make sure that you are wearing all your proper bike gear. I’ve taken a massive impact on my knee and if it wasn’t for the fact that I was wearing the right apparel I would have been in a more serious state.
As you can probably tell I won’t be at BMM tonight so have a sausage roll and a brew for me.
pleased to hear that you’re relatively OK Lou. I can vouch for wearing the right kit but it doesn’t make whiplash disappear! I’m still suffering from when I got knocked off at the end of February.
