Shoei xr1000 vs shark rsx

Good morning everyone . Im off to my local G white try on above two helmets, as i found quite good deals online.
Shark one can be bought for £169 , and shoei for £199 .
I quite like both of them, but i know that they got some cons.
Is there anyone who had, both of them , and can tell me from their own experience which one deals better with noise , air distribution , keeping visor clear of fog etc …
I will be very thankful for any replays , and hopefully will be able to order it by this evening

havent seen the shark but the shoei is an amazing helmet! very cool in summer, and in winter its decent although your chin is slightly more exposed [one of those tube scarfs sorts that out ne way] super light as well compared to waht i had before it. chek em out and see what u like, but u wont go wrong with the shoei.

I was wearing a shoie when I had my off, its a sturdy lid and I will defo be getting another one. I find it really quiet with very little wind noise at 3 figure mph. The ventilation is excellent and fogging was at a minimum too. Id recommend one every time.

The usual hot debate is Shoei v’s Arai. I’ve never owned a Shark but I have a few friends that do/have and to be honest you can see why they are that bit cheaper;)

The most important thing is to get one that fits properly so that it will do it primary job of protecting your head.

Each make is slightly different in shape. I chose an Arai simply becuase it fitted my head better than the Shoei.

Shoei every time for me, nice and light, fit my head well. You do need to try them for fit.

Thanx for reply guys .
Made my decision , and something like that should be with me within 2 days.

whilst this is of course important I cant say this enough, I lost the use of my arm and my breathing due to whiplash, not banging my head. My helmet has the tiniest of marks on it and clearly was not damaged at all, (yes i know it could have been damaged inside) but my head moved over to the side so much that it ripped the nerves out of my neck…get a helmet that reduces whiplash or wear a neck support…
