Seriously, who knows what has been going on. The so-called ‘abductor’ may in fact have been protecting her from abuse from elsewhere. Or not.

But such speculation is spurious. That she hasn’t been allowed home yet shouldn’t be read as anything either - but it does raise some folk’s eyebrows a bit.

just been watching the news etc and they way they are sort of saying is might have been done for money, like with the Mc canns fund after etc. not confirmed, speculation but it wont surprise me for the things some people do for money.
i am hoping its not true but if so she may not have been in any danger or abused if so. i feel for shannon.

You know more than the police and press! :wink: :hehe: No child abuse is not funny and neither is hiding a kid in a bed base, but the whole story stinks to high heaven portrayed by the press. I think it is weird and a crime in itself has been committed by the family imho.

No, I don’t know more than the press or anybody else. I just don’t find it funny. A young girl has been abused, be it by her family or her abductor. Remember, abuse comes in many forms.

indeed m8, i would have thought after initial interview with child she would have been str8 back with parents where she should feel safe and loved, even the cops know this. there was reports that she had chose not to go home, dont know if true.

I do think the cops are getting a raw deal over this at mo, wait till the whole story comes out.
