Shame: HM Racing

All Together Now.

Who ate all the pies :w00t:

Having read the comments on this thread I was feeling a bit guilty, maybe I was overeacting? So I emailed HM Racing and told them that I simply wanted the springs fitted and the preload set up, nothing else. This brought the price down to…

£220 + VAT:ermm:

No change there then.

What I did discover is that HM don’t charge by time like everyone else does. They charge £40 for removing the rear shock, then £60 for changing the spring. That’s £100 for what, half hour’s work?

I hope this doesn’t catch on, servicing would cost a fortune. £40 to remove the tank, £30 to take of the left hand panel, £30 for the right hand panel, £10 to move that wire out of the way…:stuck_out_tongue:

Ssh, don’t tell Perry, but he has to remove the seat to get to the top shock bolt, reckon I saved myself a few quid there:D
