7wheel (08/06/2011)
Good afternoon LB.
As some may know, I ride a trike, not because I particularly want to ride a trike, but because a nagging paralysis of the lower body forbids a bike.
It is a vehicle that combines all the disadvantages of a car (filtering not too good) and all those of a bike (get wet and cold according to the meteorological conditions). In addition, it being a custom vehicle, basically a V-Max with a load of extra gubbins hanging off the back, it tends to be broken a lot of the time because everything is now out of spec.
Naturally, I ride like an old granny and never go over 50… ahem.
What it is good for is taking my ex-Page 3 model friend for a run in minimal clothing and no helmets, on a gloriously sunny day, and checking the state of her knickers as she gets off the pillion seat. So there are some compensations.
7 WHEEL WAGON!!!
I thought you had gone Awol.
Nice to see an old timer back on LB again:D Glad your cool trike is holding its own up against the 3 wheel bashing thread;)
Hels
pretty sure I saw some of the latter ones as police vehicles too, riding down Moorgate, but seen them only once so far.
Hi Hels and PJ, good to see you through the periscope. Incidentally by the way, who’s riding what nowadays?
yes rsciw, the police did have a couple of Can-Am Spyder Roadster touring trikes that were loaned to police in Sussex as part of a month-long trial in December, maybe they decided to keep them?
