Any thief in their right mind will certainly think twice about any bike thats locked with one chain let alone two. Albeit the chain will need to be quite substantial to put them off. I’ve got a 16mm Almax and it’s a serious chain. A 19mm will be insane!
Any bike left in the open will always be a target but as long as its locked up your opportunist thief won’t bother with it.
Just make sure you run the chain through the loop on the cover to make it more awkward for anyone who want’s to have a peek!
Most motorcycles are stolen from underground car parks or parked on the side of the road not secured to anything. No one wants to bee seen cutting locks off a bike in densely populated area.
I’d have one of those left fixed onto the ground anchored bar and then use a good disclock. If you can be bothered to do more each time you use the bike, then better yet, but basically that bike will be a very attractive target for the little buggers…
