That`s quite impressive.
Whats less impressive is that if he’s only 5seconds of the lap record straight on that ducati - its the bike - not the rider!!
Let the arguing begin!!
That is very impressive wow
Coming from an F1 car and going onto a MotoGP bike and getting that sort of time is good going. We all know that riding a bike, especially on a track, you need to have very good co-ordination…
Traction control and advanced electronic engine management systems…Dovioso got his first ride on the Honda MotoGP machine and said it is easier to ride than his 250…just get into a corner, whack the throttle wide open and let the TC and electronics handle it. His words…honestly.
This type of technology is DESTROYING MotoGP as interesting/exciting form of racing. Bring back REAL motorcycle racing…where rider skill and bravery decided the outcome…rather than some IT geek back in Japan writing effective TC/engine management code…code that effectively wins or loses races before the riders arse even touches the seat.
IMHO, of course.
In that case he’s a jammy bugger then!!!
