Was anyone else aware that when we leave Borough Market and head out along Park Street that as you turn right and go under the bridge you are passing the scene of Lock Stock that involves the Taxi firm and the shoot out where they steal the drugs and money before beating up the traffic warden in the back of the transit van…http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLGxaUYaAh8

And the pub and railway bridge were used for a Michael Caine film called ‘Blue Ice’.
These events alone are good enough reasons for not getting rid of Borough Market.
havent they got any where else to film then.
Yeah they do loads of filming around there.
The location unit bases are usually operated from the car park just round the corner on Southwark St.
The French Leuitentants Woman, Howards End and Love Actually all had scenes shot in Borough Market. Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azkaban (The Leaky Cauldron pub) was also filmed there. So was a bit from that shabby film Entrapment with Catherine Zeta Plastic Surgery.
Nerdy lesson in movie trivia over.
Sat in Dulwich Park on Saturday night and watched Lock stock in an open air cinema thing…brilliant !
Dexter fletcher and the ginger one were there to announce it…cracking night, and i had forgotten what a great movie it is!
