Leaving Rykas at 09:00 hours ride an hour, rest an hour, ride an hour hour, rest an hour, ride an hour and you’ll be in Reading well before 15:00 hours.

A curious choice of route, I’m thinking there will be a few more of these ‘This could be the last time road trips via Loomies’ over the next three weeks :frowning:

Ride safe and enjoy the day

I don’t understand :crying:

7 bikes so far. Hopefully it will be dry that day.

What’s not to understand
Loomies is closing on the 26th OctoberLittle Miss Loomie waitress is an arrogant Little Miss Loomie waitressC1REX has organised one of his soon to be legendary photo shoot rides to acknowledge points 1 & 2

Arh i’m working all weekend :frowning:

Looks like a good route though.

Catch you next time…

10 bikes at this point. It should be a fun ride.

Emsee (Martin) and I are off to Loomies tomorrow, doing a route of his choosing as he has a brain like a sat nav  We may see you guys at Box or maybe at Loomies around lunch time, so we will make sure to say hello and give you a wave. I’ll be on the Beemer tomorrow and Martin will be on a KTM adventurer.

Looks like it will be a good day weather wise and hope you folks have a fun ride

OK. See you tomorrow then

Gonna try and make it but just got home from work. Don’t wait for me as I may over sleep

Edit I’m out. Just woke up won’t make it in time

Thread hijack alert!!!

Martin and I ended up at Loomies too - after a fantastic ride round some of the best gravel, mud and wet leaves lanes that Martin could muster  Once there we met the wonderful Geoff - a lovely surprise - where we posed for ‘Last Lunch at Loomies’ and ‘Here we are at Loomies’ iphone shots and a tasty lunch of sausage, mash, egg, ham, toast etc

We saw a group of young bikers who might have been you guys and some old timers who probably weren’t, but a brilliant day was had by all.

Now for the Loomies shots in honour of the sad closing of the cafe (of no real interest to anyone except me, Geoff and Martin, but could be of historical value in 150 years time:

  1. Martin and our Geoff

  1. A random weirdo and Martin

  1. A few ‘last lunch’ shots

And the closing date is - 26th October !!!

What no nice cream

The lad sitting behind Geoff looks proper sad

Shame we didn’t find each other. We left Rykas at 9.20am and finish in Reading at 1.20pm.

Bikes that day:
Nc700S
Fireblade x2
R1
BMW S1000RR
Sprint 1050
GS1200
RnineT
Versys
ER-6F

Was fun. At least for me  8o)

So you leave 20 minutes late, arrive 1 hour 40 minutes early and include stoppings on the way :ermm:

did you get water in your camera? There’s something really odd about all those photos.

Or my screen’s gone wonky…

A bit of HDR filter.

@Art - yes, it was quick. I didn’t expect that. The group was very experienced.
No crazy speed. All within speed limits. National speed limit most of the time.

@Big Red S - there a light HDR effect applied witch I like a lot :Whistling:
If I don’t use the HDR effect I just make it B&W

Nice pics  Looks like you all enjoyed yourselves.

I think we just missed you at Rykas - Martin said he saw you guys pull out, just about the time I pulled in to Box to meet him

We did a very circuitous route to Loomies down various single track and dubious looking roads scattered with autumnal debris, but beautiful countryside, woodland, hardly any cars and some great bends. I don’t think we saw you at Loomies - we got there about lunchtime - maybe 12.30 I think.

Sounds like you had a great day anyway - hope the ride was fun and you missed the rain!

I’m glad you like the pictures. Thank you.

We had a very good day. A and B roads with a little bit of back roads.
I love back roads but I planned to make the ride a bit quicker than usual.
As always good company was the most important.
Happy to hear you had a good day as well.

I think we left Loomies before 12:30. 12:00 I guess. We were in Reading at 1:20 with 1 stop on the way.

Cheers
