Which variation of circuit are you doing - did the small infield one a couple of months back, lots and lots of corners.
In inner one with lots of lefthand :Dcorners
Where is Rockingham, and is it easy to get to from London?
Er, whats lots of lefts? Unless they run it the other way to what I did, its got three lefts but they sort of roll into one. Start out down start finish, into right hander, this goes into a sort of chicane (right left), before another right, then another right (watch out for the surface repair, very bumpy), followed by another tight right, exiting uphill to another right then the first part of the left, accelerate through this to the next open left, again still way on the gas, this then turns into 3rd stage of the left, and watch the kerb on the right, it comes in very fast. This then leads down to a hairpin right and back onto the start finish straight.
A little bit further up than Silverstone - so no problem to ride there -
National circuit
Looks quite good, might consider this, it’s not too far for me either. See if I get set free next Thursday.
Never considered it myself, the other half booked me on the day so I couldn’t refuse it. Never been there before, but would go back. It is not a relaxing circuit at all, you are just about hanging off the bike all the time. The bumy right hander, was actually good for overtaking, as most people tried to stay on the inside of the repair section. If you went over the repair, it unsettled the bike but not that badly. If you want to practice cornering, I can highly recommend this circuit.

For the last corner/apex before the start finish you need to turn in well after the rumble strips end
Yep, its a late turn in, get on the gas quite early, you can use the pit lane exit to get better drive out of the corner, just try and make it back to the track proper before the kerb, especially if its wet

Couldn’t really tell from your replies - did you have a good time?I love Rockingham. Done it a couple of time, once using part of the banking too. So many corners, really technical. Lack of straights can be frustrating but I find the blast up the m-way on the way there and back takes care of that! :Whistling:
