road rage caught on tape

Driver gets ‘side swiped’ during road rage incident…

August 01/08,
London, England.
A driver driving down a slip road gets side swiped by a man in a truck for refusing to let him in front…TEXT FROM SOURCE:I refused to let this bloke impatiently push in front of me on the roundabout atop of jct 14 of the M25 so on the slip road he side swiped me… The police Refused to do any thing even with video evidence.

tw@t!.

If they’ve got the guy’s reg then surely that would result in a court appearance?

And then they wonder why the public is losing faith in the police. That has got to be dangerous driving.

The officers who refused to do anything about it should be ashamed.

I wonder what the rest of the video shows… I suspect the attitude of the driver is partially to blame for this incident. More often than not what you give out, is what you get back. That said I would have expected the Police to interview the other driver at the very least. If the CPS dropped it or if there was a counter allegation well so be it.

If that’s true then it goes to show part of the reason why there’s so many f**king idiots on the roads. The guy in the van has hit another vehicle then failed to stop, crossed solid white lines and then undertook another vehicle, surely they could prosecute the driver for at least one of the offences!

I imagine that a copper somewhere just couldn’t be arsed to do anything about it

:Whistling: you’d think so wouldn’t you!

They would NEVER find it even if they tried :

1/ Unsignwritten Transit Dropside

2 / Spotted in the Staines/Wraysbury area

3 / Driven like a twat !

All the above adds up to the fact it is bound to be stolen and being used by " pikeys " and not registered anywhere EVEN if the thing is still on it’s correct plates !!!

Another one gets away :frowning:

this kind of thing happens about once a week on average to me…

i wonder if the driver could be done for criminal damage - and whether that would be aggravated due to the use of his truck as a weapon…

In theory probably yes however my above post will most definately apply so in practice No is more likely to be the answer :frowning:

I reckon it is possible the van driver behind couldn’t see the slow traffic ahead cos he was tailgating the camera car/van and couldn’t see beyond it (and the red mist). The camera car/van drove up to the slowing traffic too fast and had to slam the anchors on. The van behind thought he was brake testing him so either decided to (or had to if his brakes were no good) go past him. As he went past he looked across and noticed the camera and decided to leg it!..well it is possible! The guy with the camera was going too fast- especially as he approached the slow traffic. The guy in the overtaking van was obviously wound up about the earlier unfilmed incident and was driving too fast and too close. Both in the wrong IMO.

If the van bumped into the car and scratch it (as it looks like), then surely that’s a “failing to stop” for an accident and is an offence? Doesn’t matter what the circomstances are or who’s fault it is? I don’t believe the police would refuse to investigate.

he should show the video to the newspapers and let them have a field with the police not taking action.

Send it to your local MP or councillor as an agrieved driver. I use that junction everyday - I reckon the bloke in the transit was using the junction as a hop from the M25 traffic, which always builds up there.

Strange that it was being filmed - Did the cameraman have an earlier problem?

when I use that jct, once passed the move over arrows, I make myself wide because you always get some dork thinking they can slip through a gap.
