Was filtering home from the Ace yesterday evening along the A40, I was sat in stationary traffic as they had shut two lanes due to flooding, an Oxford Tube coach tried to squeeze past me and in the process run clean over my right foot
, it has got progressively more painful so have decided to take myself off to the hospital.
Ouch, sounds like a good idea to me,hopefully just heavy bruising!!! Good luck, only 4hours wait;)
Ow, hope it’s just minor. Good luck.
Big hug and a kiss better!
That’s awful, hope you’re alright.
Hope you are fine but I would get a full report from the A&E and claim damages if I were you.
On a positive note you are lucky to have such a minor incident with their coach. Living in Oxford, I can tell numerous stories about their ‘special’ methods to make progress…
Ouch mate, sue them! Is it all flat?

yowzers, sorry to hear that mate, baby polar bear had similar with a bus, apparently its quite unusual to break bones because the force is spread over a large area! hope it gets better soon:)
blimey get well mate hope its only bruising
That’ll be the contemporary jazz dance class out the window for a while then!

Yes, you must get it looked at. I believe it is called a rotational force injury and can be very painful.
When someone ran over my foot - parked on, actually - I was surprised at how pleasantly warm the tyre felt and how little it hurt. However, this was a small hatchback, not a bus. But I did lean something and I now wear MX boots with steel toecaps.
Hope you recover swiftly.

Don’t worry about going to the GP, if you go to A&E they automatically send a letter to your GP to inform them of what has happened, how you told them it happened and what they did about it in A&E. Going to your GP will be a waste of time as all they’ll do is send you to A&E!
I wouldn’t be suprised if you’ve fractured something in the foot, it’s pretty easily done!
Good luck with it though and take a good book to A&E for the wait ![]()
A&E are supposed to send your GP a note if you attend, but a huge % of these never arrive or are many months late.
oh you poor porrl baby, shall i cum over and nurse it for you?xx:w00t:
As a side note, cheaper MX boots with metal toecaps can do more damage than good when they fold in on your toes… anyone seen Mel Gibson in Payback? :pinch: I’m sure you’ve got good boots but not all do!
Let us know how the foot does - hope it’s OK soon
flipin 'eck - sounds painful. Let us know how you get on.
Any excuse for a cup of tea and a cake ;)
Hope it’s not badly damaged.
Oooof. That sounds horrible… I hope it checks out OK.
Did you happen to get the number of the coach?
