Ride Outs

Yeah if it works it’s nice, I’d be quite interested in accuracy and reliability of this software but unfortunately it doesn’t support all operating systems

No

straight to the point

Thanks mr J

PS, Robert no I won’t be interested in any other phone I really love mine.

and as you noticed on Sunday, a little brain power got us regrouped in no time

Nothing like a good ol U turn and blast back at 3 figure speeds to find the lost boys and girls. Old skool

I think Google Latitude does, but I’ve suggested that before and I don’t think people were in favour.

lol

By 3 figure speeds you mean 70.5mph right?? ;):Whistling:

Have signed up. It is just another tool, but I can see lots of value being able to share messages, routes and locations with others on a rideout in real time. Having been on a LB rideout where 50 riders got scattered across Sussex due to confusion around other ride’s cornermen, this app would have done what phone calls and texts could not.

Don’t call him “little brain power”! Good for us, that Jets come to senses and go back to find us :stuck_out_tongue:

Jetstream, I expected that for some reason.

I love technology and IMO the app is definitely awesome… but not necessary. :smooooth:
A good thing about rides out is that for a while you stay away from these bloody social networks and you actually are in good company… for real
FREEDOOOOM!!!

I’ve never totally understood this kind of thing. It’s a little like ‘I left my phone at home so I could be free for a while’. Really? Are they that weak willed? Just turn it off if you’re that bothered. What happens when you actually really need it and it’s at home?

Well, if you use your mobile a lot during the week (especially for work) you kinda want to cut a bit when you’re off!
What’s so hard to understand?

Anyway, not a big deal for me… I have it always with me obviously but I don’t answer when riding…
…just the less I can use it the better it is

Like I say, either just don’t look at it, or turn it off. To leave it at home just seems a stupid thing to do. If you break down in the middle of no-where, what will you do then?

Like this app, you don’t have to open it, look at it, send messages, but it’d be good to have should anything go wrong.

Yep, we’re saying the same thing basically
Without mobile I’m screwed up (I don’t even carry a puncture kit with me) and the app is awesome and can be definitely helpful… just not necessary!
I like the idea of not having to relie on technology when possible, that’s it

Edited in the next messages.

Sorry If I didn’t explain myself, the App is already done it’s just a matter of using it.

Thank you! I preferred not to do it myself as I am the “new guy”!

Not available yet, sorry, I think the guys are working on it.
