Metallica at the o2, September 15th, £5 a ticket.

Awesome :smooooth:

That cant be rite, can it?

it does seem very cheap

stupid thing is, yes!!!

couldn’t believe it, get signed up to the free account at mission metallica, then go to your profile, it’ll give you a ticket number, you follow a link on profile/ticket page and type in your ticket/user number and if there are any left it’s a fiver!

You can only buy two tickets, and the money goes to charity.

i suppose if its going to charity maybe it is a fiver will check it out:Dcheers

Got my tickets (paperless) booked yesterday. once ticketmaster get involved it ends up being £13 total for the two tickets.

But I agree it is very cheap, I think it’s because their last album wasn’t great and they’ve got a new one out on the 12th, so it’s a bit of advertising.

Should be good!

gotta do the platinum thing though

I would love to see them live.

:w00t: better get me some tickets!!!

It’s Tomorrow. brilliant!

Let me know how it goes tonight. I didn’t like the last album, if they’re playing stuff from the new one, you’ll have to tell me what it sounded like.

Have a great time.

I was thinking of trying to get tickets for this gig, but I didn’t have anyone to go with and wasn’t about to go by myself. Been signed up to Mission: Metallica for a couple of months and got their newsletter advertising it. It’s a “celebration” (read promotion) of their new album, so it’ll probably be new stuff. Which isn’t a bad thing as the album rocks. It’s a bit “St. Anger meets Kill 'Em All” really, but there’s enough original stuff in there for me. Back are the 8-10 minute tracks with insane guitar riffs!

Registered with mission metallica - Didnt mnage to get a ticket however…

Walked into HMV on thursday though - Managed to but the Album off the shelf a day bfore release! WOOP!

Saw them at Reading anyway, so i can make do with not seeing them, but what a way to ‘give something back’ (Read tax deductable promotion) to the fans!

Looks like SOMEONE at least has found a way around large scale touting too making the purchaser present thei card on the door and restricting sales to 2 per person…

If that had happened with reading this year, i would be quite so poor! :w00t:
