So the zip pull on my gortex jacket has broken off, I could put a keyring on it to use as a zip pull but are there any proper replacments you can get? it’s for the lock out zip system, the jacket is less than a year old but I have been hunting around for a receipt but can’t find it at the mo but also Held don’t offere loan jackets whilst yours in in for repair so I can’t be bothered really!
Go with the key ring!
I am using a key ring on the zipper of my 10 year old Alpinestars TZ1, while a paperclip operates the left hand zip pocket on my Dainese textiles jacket.
I call it ‘Recession chic’ . . .

I know a key ring would suffice but for such an expensive jacket want more for it, tbh I’m really peeved it broke int he 1st place but can’t be bothered with the hassle of sending it off for repair when I could fix myself.
