Hi guys,
I’ve recently passed my Cat A exam and wanted to try out a few motorcycles before I settle on buying one. Possibly take a bike for a ride to Brighton and back.
Where can I affordably rent a motorbike that is more than 150cc in London for a few days? I’m based in Highbury.

This place is the only one I know of, they are in South London. Not sure if you’ll class this as affordable though.

Before you go and blow money, why not go to a few dealers and do some smaller test rides. Some will give you an hour, others are a bit more flexible apparently
Renting bikes seems like an expensive way for me to try out bikes.
yes agree with Serrisan…Go to a dealer with a view that you are 'in the market" and they will let you test a few different bikes…Especially go to multi franchise dealers such as laguna in maidstone etc as they can give you a go on different bikes. A much more cost effective way…Sometimes they make you pay for petrol but it will be a lot cheaper than renting.

Apologies for high jacking this thread. I’m looking for affordable rentals in the scooter range, also in London. I’ve found scooter tech which seems the best deal so far (£120/week) but wondered if there were cheaper alternatives that aren’t necessarily online. I’ll be based in Rickmansworth.
For less than £100 a month you could own one! What period are you looking to have it for?

I’ve hired a 125cc from Raceways before when I was learning. They are nice guys.
About Town is another option with a more premium selection, but they are further out of London.
