Hi met one or two of you on the learner ride to Brighton. I was hoping to be able to sity back a while and then post as a fully fledged biker. Unfortunately coming up with the 6 hundred pounds needed to do my Das is proving harder than I thought, so I am still spinning around on my little 125. Albeit slightly more confident and commuting to London everyday 
Hope that those of you I met are well, and I will get round to coming to the London Biker nights (if someone wants to let me know when and where they are!)
Plan to be a regular poster again now and will keep you updated in my quest for my CBR 600 
Great to hear from you - I wondered where you had disappeared to!There is ameet at Borough Market tonight - look at the BMM threads. I am sure you will be made most welcome!
As for the DAS - as the test is being made much harder next year - you could consider taking the test now on your current bike - at least you could ride something restricted when you can afford it, or pick up a cheap second hand 400 or something to be going on with.
I passed in the summer and am riding a 250 until I have a bit more expendable dosh.
Thanks for the advice. It shouldnt be too long before I have the money together. Unfortunately I cannot make tonight, but as long as I know what night it is I should be able to get along there soon. I ride into London most days so shouldnt be a problem.
