So, quite often I get red marks on my hands after using my heated gloves, it’s never sore or blistered, just red and takes a while to go away, people in the office have been asking if i’ve been in a fight this morning! haha
Is this normal? Do you other heated glove users get it too or should I be worried? Did I just have them too hot?
Thats heat burn looks like your gloves are a touch hot at the contact point on your knuckles it they will eventually stay a slightly darker colour but it shouldnt cause any long term problems lots of people apparently have these sort of marks from laptops on their legs (bare skin)
youll also get then as your knuckles are a friction point, creating more heat in the area as you close your fingers by way of friction on the material. plus the heating elements…
i dont think you have anything to worry about, as long as its not blistered…
Errrr news flash just in…I am a girl JC even though you may see me as one of the lads haha
And yes it is cold enough, can’t have my little handy pandies getting cold, whats the point of trying to tough it out, if it’s cold I’ll use them and get my monies worth
And we all thought you were a lad wearing cute red nail varnish…
But yes, my hands can get a spot red after wearing heated gloves. If they’re hot enough to turn your hands red, you could just turn them down a notch. That said I had a pair which had an overly hot patch on one knuckle. Could never stand more than 5 minutes on top two settings. But turning them down, meant the rest of my hand and left hand were spot nippy. Sent them back in end, manufacturing fault.
