recommend a motorcycle school in north London

One of my friends wants to take up biking. She lives in north London near Green Lanes. Are there any good schools - or one would be fine really - you can recommend?

Theres the dudes on the great cambridge roundabout (a406/a10) I learned there 2 yrs ago and am enquiring about advanced training. They good.

Nice people. Good pass rate and they work for themselves so are motivated.

I can highly recommend them.

I would recommend Rob’s Riders. The guy is really friendly, been doing it for years, really knows his stuff. 07931 993502

He doesn’t really advertise very much though, so no fancy website or anything, just a really good teacher who gets new clients by word of mouth. A lot of my local motorcycle places recommend him, since students that pass = future customers.

He is based around Enfield, but I saw him picking up a Student at Whipp’s Cross Tea Hut on Sunday a week or so ago, so obviously travelling isn’t an issue.

Thanks everyone, I will pass them all on.

+1 for CSMT

I can recommend Fast Trak http://www.fasttraklondon.co.uk/

Passed first time with two minors

Did my test with these guys, they were great

ditto!, use these people.

Elite Motorcycle Training in Wembley was good when i went years back, had a top notch instructor called “H”

There are some very good and some very bad schools, as you know, and a recommendation is worth a lot.

I recommend ART. A fairly new school who operate out of Basildon. They run either in Basildon or they have a mobile office and have some sites in East London where they can run courses. Their instructors are top notch and their students have a high percentage of passes with clean sheets.

They also run pay & go type courses, rather than stump up £700 odd and have to take a week off work for a DAS course, they can train you one day at a time for as long as it takes.
