Occasionally the rear (drum) brake on my bike is grabbing (and squeeking at the same time), which today in the slippy rain wasn’t great… Any idea’s why I might be? I was thinking of cleaning it out, scrubbing the shoes and re-adjust. Given how cheap the shoes are - I might as well jsut replace them. Any wise thoughts?
Remove the wheel and clean the drum and check the brake shaft isn’t sezing lube it with copper slip reassemble

How much wear have you got left on the shoes? They might need replacing anyway.
