Ratty goes fishing

Ratty is at his favorite spot fishing, he soon catches herring, that he takes a picture with and releases back into the river.

after a while he catches another, another picture follows after which he releases this one aswell.

Up the river another fisherman sees Ratty and starts to wonder what all this catch, photo, release is all about. ‘The next time he does this, ill ask him about it’ he thinks to himself.

Well not long after Ratty catches a Pike! As he’s about to release it into the river the guy asks him.

‘Scuse me mate, why do you release the fish you catch?’
‘Cause i like the process of fishing’, Ratty says.

‘So why dont you give them to me then, I got 5 kids to feed you know?’
‘Why do you have so many kids if you cant feed them?’ Ratty asks

‘Cause i like the process as well’!

catch and release does have a serious side, this is currently a problem with some of our countrys newer residents not practiscing C+R, as this is not thier custom…but it is ours…and something we feel strongly about.

and dude…WTF herrign in a river!? …but…herrign i sone of my best pike baits;)

all i know about fish is that you put garlic and lemon on them and grill them! then serve with Ouzo and Salad!! :smiley:
