This year I will be taking part in two events to raise money for two very good causes, I will be taking part in the Race for Life on 22nd May to raise money for Cancer Research UK and the London to Brighton Bicycle Ride on 20th June to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.

Well thats another year of London to Brighton done, was a very long day due to lots of accidents along the way and some poor man who had a heart attack on his way up Ditchling Beacon, riders were held at the bottom for about 1 1/2 hours whilst he was tended to by medical staff and the air ambulance came to take him to Brighton hospital, unfortualy he died later which is very very sad indeed http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/10362762.stmThink it took me about 8 hours to get there in the end, Curtis and PJ made good progress and managed to get through to congestion to make it there about 3 hours before me and my little gang, they had plenty of time to chill on the beach, get a massage and enjoy fish and chips, by time we arrived at the coach point it was pretty much time to get on the coach and make our way back home!! A very long day but all for a very good cause, The British Heart Foundation.
