R3 zaust systems

I’ve been looking the different slip-ons for the R3, but the videos online don’t really show a massive difference between the stock and the slip-ons except at idle. Is it worth it for the money?

depends on what you want an exhaust to do

are you are a better sound ?

Yeah, a much louder sound, mainly for filtering on the A12.

looks to me like the R3 has a cat before the slip-on part so fitting the slip-on won’t make it breathe any easier and sound much better.

if you fitted a straight-through system then you might get the noise you’re looking for:

If you go for a full replacement system you will need your bike remapped
If you go for an end can you won’t need a remap but it won’t sound as loud as I’m sure your bike has a cat fitted so the have a tendency to deaden the sound abit
Have a look at a scorpion end can they sound good

Thank you both, I’ll have a think and watch a few more sound comparison videos.

I have a cbr 500 with a akrapovic slip on. It sounds alot better then standard, but still would like more. Considering buying collectors and a link pipe. Id say full system.
