Hey peeps,
I’m sure this question has been asked plenty of times but just wanted to know is there a way of lowering your insurance for motorbikes by doing an advanced course or something like they do for cars?

Some insurers will offer you a discount if you have done the BIKESAFE course, something for starters and only costs you £30
I did Bikesafe in May, when my insurance came up for renewal 2 months later they gave me a £30 reduction in the premium as a result. Seems likely IAM (Institute of Advanced Motorcyclists) or Rospa training will also give discounts. Others on this site will have gained these qualifications so should be able to give some idea of the affect this might have on your insurance. I am a member of London Advanced Motorcyclists but not passed the test yet.
i found a renewals website that offered California superbike school as an ‘advanced riders course’ along side ROSPA AND ioam COURSES…
