Quick answer :

It’s not cheap, but it is very good, well recommended for anyone who can spare the dosh.

The whole cornering process is broken down into elements & you run through a number of exercises that examine these parts & how they are affected/influenced by what you do (or fail to do) on the bike, basically it’s putting the stuff in the books into practice.

I did the 3 levels at Cadwell about 8 years ago with Keith Code himself in attendance & the only regret I have is that I did them all in one go - ie on 3 consecutive days. With hindsight, I’d have spread them out over a few months as there is an awful lot to take onboard in one go & I think it would be much better to do them one level at a time & then spend some time putting into practice the skills learnt before moving onto the next level.

I found it a relaxed and fun day out.

The drills taught are simple an easy to practice but are fundamental to cornering safely and quickly whether you’re a top racer or novice trackdayer.

It’s gets you to think and question what you’re doing on the bike and the results of your actions. As your understanding grows, so will your confidence.

Don’t bother with the Stowe circuit, it’s not exactly a race track. I’d suggest paying the extra and going to Brands where you can learn the tricks then return at your leisure to practice them.

All in all money well spent…why learn the hard way.

cheers pat & b ive booked them with a couple of months between like you mention so thats good thanks for the heads up cheers
