Prison v's work

In prison - you spend the majority of your time in an 8x10 cell. At Work you spend most of your time in a 6x8 cubicle.

In prison - you get three meals a day (free). At work you only get a break for one meal and you have to pay for it yourself and take time off for it.

In prison - you get time off for good behaviour. At work - you get rewarded for good behaviour with more WORK.

In prison - a guard locks and unlocks the doors for you. At work - you must carry around a security card and unlock/open all the doors yourself.

In prison - you can watch tv and play games. At work - you get fired for watching tv and playing games.

In prison - you get your own toilet. At work - you have to share with the whole office.

In prison - they allow your family and friends to visit. At work - you cannot even speak to your family and friends.

In prison - all expenses are paid by taxpayers with no work at all. At work - you get to pay all the expenses to goto work and they they deduct taxes from your salary to pay for the prisoners etc.

(it goes on to say ‘what are you waiting for, go and murder your boss’ but I don’t endorse that - a light battering will do;) )

Just one of those emails you get at work :slight_smile: But yes, I have visited a couple of nicks, emphasis on the visited - I passed Go :smiley:

I have to admit to having ermmm ‘visited’ one or two of her majesty’s institutions on a number of occasions too.

I must declare tho, those Prison Officer’s do a damn fine job and I believe they should all be knighted at the very least :cool:

Prison definatley is’nt a punishment anymore…i was speaking to a mates ex boyfriend who i bumped into whilst shopping he had just got out of prison on license served 2 years out of 4 for armed robbery! he said he was going to end up back inside cos it was easy living!:w00t::angry: It must be true…HOLIDAY NOT PUNISHMENT ******* legal systems screwed innit:angry:
