Prickwilow, prickwillow, prickwillow. Sun 21 Aug.

Home safe after 215 miles and only 30 seconds of rain. Thanks to Richard and one of the Andys for tailgunning, nice to see the other Andys, Rob, Russ and John.  4 BMWs, 3 Hondas and a solitary Kawasaki  disturbed the tranquility of  Middlesex, Hertfordshire, Essex, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire.

We thought the Prickwillow was smoother than of yore but maybe we are becoming desensitised.

After a fine riverside repast we determined to redress the underwhelming Prickwillow with the “Duck of death”, a fine twisty road of subsidence south of Chatteris, the mighty fine B1040  and to compensate John for lack of Nicecream , a blast down the Baldock bends to Buntingford where refreshments were finally extracted from an old Black Bull.

No photos from us today as life is too short.

Thanks to the Jets for as usual a great day out. And thank god that I have fathered all the children I need before the Prickwillow vasectomy run…lovely riverside lunch…nice run back including the Ducking Bridge…
Cheers…Richard and the Andy’s

Nice pics Richard - thank Andy for us

and we had a very fine home made Thai green chicken curry for tea, washed down with some dodgy fizzy apple juice from Tesco
