A lot of people have moaned about the soles on their Sidi boots, my current fella included. I posted a few weeks ago about re-soling them and on GSXRang’s suggestion tried a place in Ealing.
I took my fella’s boots in and they were ready the next day for collection. The job cost £35 and I am very impressed with the result. Rather than throw away a £200+ pair of boots, get them re-soled here.
They are a great little place, more than happy to try and help you rather than you having to throw away an otherwise good pair of boots.
I sat and waited for them to do mine… I’d have looked like one of those weirdo Camden residents (sorry to all you lot who live there lol) walking around Ealing in just me socks … my boots have gone through another winter and will do a few more too.
I was thinking of new soles for my vertebras. They don’t make them anymore and vertigos are not so comfy, as someone suggested - good for people with no calf muscles
well done!, i have just bought a set of new winter boots, they arent sidi`s as they are crap, but they are Frank thomas, im not kidding, they are the comfiest, warmest winter boot ive bought. I wouldnt normally rate Frank thomas, but as i was on a budget i needed a new set so they were the ones!
Had my Sidi boots done today, mentioned LB and he said he did remember about a nice Lady biker coming in years ago and that other bikers have come by since to get their boots resoled.
Friendly people. Finished within the hr as I said I was only passsing by.
