Had a bimble around Saffron Walden today and stopped off at the Hideout. They gave me some great advice and are doing a nice alteration for me.
Anyone actually used their textiles, in need of a new set?
Only 9 miles from Finchingfield, not that far really.
Used them to alter a Belstaff leather jacket, I thought as the worked with leather they’d be best placed to carry out alterations - how wrong was I. Went back and forth half a dozen times they even got one sleeve longer than the other, gave up in the end took the jacket elsewhere. Absolute joke.
Got my leather trousers back today. They were taken-in perfectly and there was no sign of the alteration. Pricey but a great job.
