Once again the Maidstone branch of HG deserves a mention…
After the stick I’ve been getting about my plan to leave the velco patches below my knees sliderless for the upcoming trip to Cadwell Park, I went into HG today asking for a set of really cheap sliders (cos they are not ever going to be reaching the ground)!
They said “didn’t those trousers come with sliders?” as they are HG ladies celtics (albeit a bit modified), when I said no, off the guy trundled and came back with a set - no charge
