Police on Lower Thames Street

Pulling bikes for riding in the cycle lane, £30 fine ouch:ermm:

I could be wrong but I am pretty sure the cycle lane on Lower Thames Street does not have a solid white lane, therefore as long as you are not impeding or obstructing a cyclist it would be perfectly legal to use.

Solid white I’m afraid. They are parked up just after the right hander so you can’t see them until it’s too late. I don’t usually go in the cycle lane but there was a bloody slow cyclist riding between the lanes where I normally filter so thought I’d use the cycle lane to get in front of him:doze:

Yeah it used to be broken white line which means you can use it but it has been solid for a while now

thx

To be fair he did ignore the small plate and race can, and understood my reasoning for not displaying a tax disc due to it being stolen, don’t think his mate would have been quite so forgiving though.
