Police arrest video

I can hardly wait for the few to jump to their defence…Total disgrace and they all want sacking and jailing (particularly the one punching the guy in the head…Or am I wrong???

lucky guy!! if he was in another country and have tried to kick a policemen in that conditions he would have had a very nasty treatment - maybe life!!

EM

:D:D

I’m not all that sure I agree with the second use of the taser… but all the guy had to do was put his hands behind his back… From what I can see he was not being punched in the head, he was being struck on the arm, this is a Home Office approved method. Basically he was trying to give him a dead arm so he could gain control of it and put the cuffs on.

seems pretty reasonbale too me !!!

we dont know what happend prior to this and its a typical one sided view, aimed to put the police in a bad light !!!

Oh dear, i know where this is going to get me before i post it

If you dont wanna be treated like that, dont start trouble in the first place. I hate living in britain. People are bought up nowadays to have no respect, and a lot of the population seem to behave in a very uneducated way, where going out and getting pissed, then starting a fight cos someone looked at you the wrong way…is normal?

I’d be apalled if my kids behaved like that, they have respect built in.

i might as well be the first, but if you don’t like living in this once great country then get the fvck out of it:) and take me with you:D

I would move if i could wolfie, but i cant tell you where i’m going in case it clashes with BM night (against forum rules!) so i cant take you with me

serves him right:), his still struggling at the end of the vid!!

yet another 2 minutes of out of context footage.

arresting someone who doesn’t want to be arrestted will always make fantastic footage for the media. Why do you think there are so many police stop programmes?

the fact that he was tasered and still had to be restrained by 5 officers speaks volumes

all looks normal to me…

I have to say i totally agree with you Mel. My kids also know what respect is and i wish more parents would bring their kids up the same way.

As for your moving and not telling anyone remark, that was a cheeky little kick eh:)

2 minutes out of context agreed BUT a bit lost what kids/respect have to do with it…

1 tasered guy and 5 police. all seems fair to me

MUST remember to only read posts in the ride out section in future. (unless they mention the oakdene of course)

Yep - large guy resists being arrested - short sequence of footage showing the bits where he’s on the ground and still struggling - The Police have been given this device so why are people surprised when it’s used?

Seems to me he got what he wanted - but then I’ve only seen the limited sequence shown here…

As for the people taking the video just a listen to the voice over suggests a less than admiring attitude to the Police anyway and if they’d really wanted the officers reprimanded why not give it straight to the IPCC instead of the local media…

If you look closely, you can see he is punching his arm so he can cuff him.

When you read a bit more of the background here:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/nottinghamshire/8101763.stm

It seems that the guy getting arrested hasn’t even put in a complaint about it so in my mind that must mean that he thinks he deserves what he got
