Points on Your License

20 years car, 10 years bike. No points. Goody two shoes aren’t I…

Got points on my provisional aged about 18. Had an old c90 i was going to scrap. Sent back the tax for a refund, went to the scrapyard, which was closed. Got caught on the way home with no tax. Now on 3 points for speeding last year. Other than that, nothing.

I got my licence in 1986, in 1988 i got 3 points for speeding, i was doing 90mph in a 30mph zone.
But been clean since.

I’m exempt from the law. Points don’t apply.

Had both a bike and car licence since 1988. I’ve never been convicted of any offence. I’ve also only had one accident on a bike…

is that why then can’t find your bike?:Whistling:

I’ve never had any points since I got my license in 1997…

Not through want of trying though!.. :stuck_out_tongue:

Also, how many others have been flashed in the Limehouse Link? I got flashed at the beginning of december and never had anything through the post either. I’m thinking the camera’s don’t work, as I was doing about 45-50mph when it went off!

IVE HAD TO MANY GOT 6 ATM JUST LOST 3 well like year ago or so BAD BOY SLAPS MY SELF:w00t: SPEEDING AND LAST 3 NOT CONTROL OFF BIKE OR SOME CRAP STAND UP WHEELIE HUM and a nice collection off tickets :hehe:

6 years bike(ligit) 6 years car i hardly drive!

but iam trying to be a good boy or bye bye lic its so damn hard!:stuck_out_tongue:

hmmm, everyone seems like they are goodie 2 shoes as I have 24 points on mine but 18 drop off in feb. nearly didnt get insured on a 50cc moped 2 years ago and the insurance quoters use too laugh on the phone when i use too tell them what i done.

not telling my history as i was a bit of a reckless idiot at the age of 19 and managed to accumulate most of these within the first 2 years on the road.

im very cautious now and can stop myself from getting too carried away with my riding, it’s not worth it considering i prefer track time and I need my license for my job.

18 years car licence - Nil Points.
3 years Bike Licence - Nil Points.

non pn my bike since 1980 I think…so nil points

car, I have had a few over the years but non since 2000

In 20 years driving, 10 years biking, had 3 lots of 3 points for doing 40 in 30 mph zones (x2, both cameras) and 90 mph on M1 (x1, police biker), never more than 3 on my licence at any one time, the current 3 are due to come off this year.

Been driving since 2004 and have not had points in the car, and been riding since April 2008 and luckily not had any on their either…

however…

its only a matter of time, i dont break the speed limit all the time, but i do, and if you do, your bound to get done at some point.

Oh yes. I’ve paid the idiot tax three times  My own stupid fault (and I obviously didn’t learn my lesson the first two times, which probably makes me even more stupid).

I’ve been driving (with a license!) for 12 years and had my bike license for 2 years. Been flashed by cameras about 10 times, had an unmarked police car put on its lights right up behind me once (only for them to pull the speeding car in front of me) and had the speed gun pointed at me from a flyover 4 times (the last time that happened was 14 days ago today :D). These are only the incidents I was actually aware of so I’m pleased to still have a clean license.
I think I was lucky when I was younger though because I used to drive on the motorway a lot more.

24 woo how U manage that? and i thought my 9 was bad at the time!

my 1st speeding ticket was due to a broken speedo so i was guessing and got nabed at 40mph on a 30 then the 2nd was just a bit faster:Whistling:

Had my license since 1993 got 3 points in 2005 driving my car in Oxford on the high street doing 38mph by an unmarked car!! never understood why they didn’t stop me!

How long does the points stay in the license? and how do you get them removed?:doze:

stay on 4 years but expire after 3. so they told me but i still got some expired ones on there cant be asked 2 get them removed…

Riding for 8 years and 8 points

5 points, £250 fine and court apperance for averaging 95mph around the M25, police were following me in an unmarked for 3 miles and caught me top end at 138mph.

&

3 points, £60 fine for 84mph on a dual carriage way, caught with one of Kents new Speed Curbs (speed camera in the curb stone) bstrds

Had 3 points (bike) so long ago, it was £30 fixed plus £2 / mph over limit. That was £78 ka-ching. Caught on a very empty M42 not long after it opened.
