…introduce myself.
I ride an X9 250 which I’ve had for 2 years now. Before that I had another fine italian scooter for a couple of years (hence the username).
I’m 30-plus (more like 40-minus if I’m honest), live in SE1 and use my scoot for everyday short commuting (it’s only 5 miles to work at the moment), as well as weekend trips (just back from a weekend canoeing and camping in Wales), and longer holidays (off to Switzerland in a week’s time, then off to Holland later in the summer).
As far as bikes are concerned, I’m a bit of an ignoramus when it comes to geared bikes (never ridden one. Know very little about them), but I’m interested in maxi scooters, in finding ways to improve my riding, and in the political things that affect all of us on two wheels (parking, licences, etc).
