some twat just took me out on West End Road, Ruislip…
My beloved R6 is hurting… completely bent the top crash bobbin which saved my leg, botom bobbin ripped out and damage to fairing dented exhaust. Just paid for Silverstone, could it get any worse…suspect no insurance for driver… AM PISSED OFFFF 
anyone know the torque setting for the R6 04/05 …?

Ack, bad luck fella! Did you call the cops if suspecting no insurance for the third party? Good luck getting this sorted, sounds like you’re lucky to only sustian cosmetic damage.

Least you are ok, shame about the bike. Make sure the police were involved as this is another statistic for driving without insurance. What the **** is going on in the country???
Called police at the time, it is crap and it does seem to be the norm theese days with drivers, although I am pleased to say that the person involved was not of Eastern European decent as we have seen in previous threads.
Thanks everyone for the support, Cameron is nursing his pride and getting his first lessons in how to DIY… Second accident in just over a year with the last one almost a write off, the insurance is going to be hefty… ouch…

Cameron is in the doghouse !! just discovered he was side swipped at 10 miles an hour!
