Does anyone know how to change the clocks on a 53 plate Piaggio X9 125 Evolution from Km to miles. Can’t seem to find a manual for one anywhere! Cheers!
Turn ignition key to “off”. Hold down either the RHS two buttons or the LHS two buttons on the digidash (I can’t remember which. One combination does a test of the dials, making them all go up to the max and then down to min. The other combo toggles between miles and kilometers), and then keeping the buttons held down, turn the key to “on”.
It’s no good asking Q’s about next-generation 22nd century biking technology like you get on scooters, on this site. It’s full of Luddites who still ride bikes with clutches and footbrakes :P:P
(For your info, there’s a very good X9 club http://x9ownersclub.co.uk/forum/index.php with a forum where you can get answers to all sorts of X9 Q’s)
Thanks for that - it’s worked (the LHS buttons do the trick)! I normally am one of those people but just bought an X9 for commuting and so far seem to be loving it - very comfortable and had forgotten how useful a fuel gauge was!
Thanks again - J
Pleasure. Glad to help, and glad you’re enjoying your X9.
I’d like to stand up for the luddites, but as I have an automatic, I don’t think I can. Just shows you what progress has been made of the last thirty years, doesn’t it?
