a wife picks up a ringing phone and after 20 mins she hangs up.
‘That was short, What happend?’ asked the husband, ‘You usually talk for two hours’
‘Wrong number,’ she replied
Same thing happened to me, when I asked she said she`d been phoning exit on my behalf.
I got a phone call from a mate the other day. He said "I just bought 8 legs of venison for £30. Is that too deer?"
I had a wrong number a couple of months ago:
Me: Hello
Caller: Hello could could I speak to Mr X
Me: Sorry I think you have the wrong number
Caller: Oh, so to bother you
Me: Oh’ don’t worry the phone was ringing any way.
Caller: Oh, okay.
And then I hung up. Think that I confused the poor person.
