now we all know that petrol is daylight robbery at mo but went on a little trip today to kent and noticed that it went down to as low as 101.99 when where i live it is 105.99 so this got me thinking in it cant be the petrol supplier cos surely it will be same in all their garages, i use shell.So is it down to the people who run said petrol station? i am lead to believe they are franchised out etc so can put just about wot price they want.
Wot can we do about it? would say just use the garages where it is cheaper but that i suppose is not possible cos all the garages in my local area are bout same crappy price.
went pass an asda just of the a13 and the price of unleaded was £1.01.9 and the shell garage i use all the time is up @ £1.05.9. i think its taking the P1SS
also is 220klms good for a tank (11 litres)on my gilera runner200 vxr???
careful with asda petrol mate - when they refil the tank from the tankers they are meant to leave their petrol settle for x amount of time to allow for dirt and deposits to settle to the bottom. if they dont it can go into ure car/bike and possibly get dirt in the carb…had a major problem with this once. Not really a prob with new engines, but was with my old nsr.
aha same with tesco’s petrol!!! lil 125s dont like!!! lol havent put fuel in for like 3 days now so no idea wat the prices are but yeah u ever seen wat profit margins they (fuel companys) make?
