My comment about the fog lights started off tongue in cheek and I selected one of the silly poll votes
However, I stand by what I’ve said about not letting faster vehicles past, call it selfish if you like but if somebody wants to overtake me and go faster, I always let them when safe to do so. I don’t know why some stubborn people sit in the overtaking lanes whilst not overtaking. Who’s being selfish??
oye be nice yeah…if Im sat on the motorway and Im doin a good speed in the first or second lane and someone starts on me I will not be bullied. You want to go faster? do it but overtake me when you can. I f you act like an ass and I cant deal with it there and then you will be reported. You bully me on a motorway and put my life in danger and my passenger…it wont be your mirrors you’ll lose. Im sick of people thinking that just because they have a bigger ego sorry I meant car/bike that they have the right to bully me. Ofcourse Im not gonna sit in the fast lane doing 70 when theres an empty lane next to me. Im not an arse but it seems as tho most drivers are. Oh and I dont see any problem with undertaking as long as your not a dick about it. I spent a normally nice ride home at 6.30 this morning being hounded by a twat in a 3series bmw who decided that even tho there was next to no traffic in either direction he would sit within half a meter of my tail for 6 miles. He was so close that if I braked he would have taken me out. I couldnt even see his number plate. Now new bike/tyres, rain, new tarmac and painted lines…see where this is going? Well I got off lucky n he didnt.
my cousin got pulled the other month doing this, the copper asked him (it was a stunning clear night) whether he’d been someone foggy lately - my cousin being a twat didn’t know what he was doing wiht them on!?
If you’re not overtaking -stay left. Simple. If you do that you and I will have no problems on the motorway whether on a bike or in a car. As for your journey this morning, in your situation I would have pulled over somewhere and let the dangerous person behind you go. Better safe than sorry. Must be the BMW’s making drivers drive like knobs
